Steps to Setup Roku Device
If you have bought a new Roku device, you should set it up to start using it. The setup takes only a few minutes, so you don’t need to worry. During this process, you have to select a language, connect your Roku to WiFi, download firmware updates, customize display settings, etc. You can also stick to the same steps to set up your device from scratch, even if you have reset your Roku to factory settings.
- Pair your Remote
Once you unbox your Roku TV or Roku Streaming device, connect it and turn it on. As soon as you turn on your device, you will see the instructions to pair your TV remote. Follow the instructions and get your Roku remote paired.
- Choose Language
The next step is to choose the language in which your Roku interface should appear. You can go through the list and select the preferred language.

On the next page enter your email and you will receive an activation mail to the acknowledged mail ID. Complete the process by entering your device name, and TV location and select the channels you want to display on your TV.
- Finish the Activation
Once the device activation is successful, the Roku device will start updating the channels within a few seconds.
Can I Set Up Roku Without a Remote?
