Steps to Pair a New Roku Remote
If you have bought a new Roku remote, you can easily pair it to your Roku device by visiting its settings. Luckily, Roku devices support pairing multiple remotes. - Go to Roku Settings
Power on your Roku TV using the Power button. Use the navigational button to scroll down and highlight Settings. Then press the OK button to open it.
- Click Remotes & Devices
Hit the right navigational button to go to the Remotes & Devices section.
- Tap Remotes
In the Remotes & devices section, press the right arrow key on the remote to highlight the Remotes tile. Then, press the OK key on a remote.
- Hit Add a new remote
On the next page, hit the right navigational button, scroll down, and highlight the Add a new remote option. Once done, press the OK key on the Roku remote.
- Locate the Microphone Pinhole
On the next page, you will be asked to locate the Microphone Pinhole on your remote. Open your Roku remote and locate the pinhole.
- Press the Pairing button.
Now, the Roku device will ask to set up a remote. Hold the Pairing button on your new Roku remote for 5 seconds to pair it with your device.
