Steps to Connect Roku to WiFi
If you have set up your Roku device for the first time, you will be asked to connect it to a WiFi network. The steps to set up an internet connection are common for all Fire TV devices, and they are given below.
- Go to Settings.
Look for the Settings option on the Roku home screen. Once found, scroll down to the option and hit OK to confirm the selection.
- Select Network.
On the next screen, navigate to the right side and select the Network option to open the network settings.
- Tap Set up connection.
Again, navigate to the right side. Here, scroll down and navigate to the option Set up connection. Then, click the OK button to select it.
- Choose Wireless.
On the right side panel, you will see the option Wireless. Select it to open the WiFi settings.
- Pick your desired WiFi network name.
You will find a list of WiFi network names under the Wireless section. Choose the WiFi network name you intend to connect.
- Enter the WiFi Password and click Connect.
Using the on-screen keyboard, type the password for the WiFi network and click Connect. Make sure to type the right password to avoid any connection problems. Once done, your Roku will be connected to the WiFi network.
