Steps to Update Apps on Roku

- Head to Apps
After connecting the Roku to WiFi, click the Home key on the remote to go to the home page. You can press the right navigational arrow on the remote to move through the Apps section.
- Hit Asterisk button
Select the app you want to update from the apps list. Then, hit the Star or Asterisk button on the remote to get a pop-up menu on the screen.
- Select Check for Updates
On the pop-up menu, scroll down using the down directional key and highlight the Check for Updates option. Tap OK to open it.
- Click Update
The device will start scanning for updates. If an update is shown, tap the Update option. To confirm the selection, click the Update button again. Now, the selected app will be updated within a few seconds.
